NSW Government Rebate
The rebate is available for new gas, solar or heat pump hot water systems which replace an electric system. These rebates are up to $300 for a gas hot watersystem with a 5-star or higher energy rating. A rebate of up to $1,200 is available for a solar or heat pump hot water systems. This offer expires 30th June 2011.To be eligible NSW Government Rebates, the new hot water system:
- Must replace an electric storage hot water system
- Must be purchased and installed after 1st October 2007
- Must be installed by licensed plumber
- Applies to residential dwellings in NSW only
- Applies to solar & heat pump hot water systems with at least 20RECS
