RECs are an electronic form of currency established to promote renewable energy generation. As a hot water system supplier, we are able to provide more information about RECs.  This can add up to $1,600!


The criteria required to be eligible for claiming RECs are:

• The person claiming must be the owner of the system at the time of install
• The solar hot or heat pump hot water system being purchased must be a complete model, which is listed in the ‘Register of Solar Hot Water Heaters’ found on the ORER website below
• The rebate must be claimed within 12 months of installation completion
